RMIT University Seminar in Samarkand: Exploring Study Opportunities in Melbourne
On 6 October 2026, EVERSTUDY Consulting hosted a seminar with RMIT University at Mövenpick Hotel Samarkand, bringing Australian education opportunities closer to students and families in Uzbekistan.
With speakers Joseph Dao and Khalilullo Isomiddinov, the event provided an opportunity to explore studying at RMIT University and learn more about Melbourne as a study destination. For families considering education abroad, meeting university representatives in person is a valuable step towards making an informed decision.
About RMIT University
Established in 1887, RMIT is an Australian university with a focus on technology, design and enterprise. Its history began in Melbourne, and today it serves an international community of students. RMIT’s three Melbourne campuses are located in the City, Brunswick and Bundoora.
Students can explore study options across areas such as business, engineering, information technology, architecture, art and design. RMIT places particular emphasis on practical learning and connections with industry, helping students understand how their studies apply in professional settings. For students preparing to enter university, Foundation Studies also offers pathways aligned with different academic interests.
Studying in Melbourne
Choosing a university also means choosing where to build a new chapter of your life. For students from Uzbekistan, studying in Melbourne offers the opportunity to develop independence, build international friendships and experience a different academic environment.
At RMIT, student life extends beyond the classroom through clubs, events and activities. The university also provides information to help international students explore accommodation options and prepare for life in Australia. These practical considerations are an important part of planning a study journey.
Connecting Samarkand Students with International Education
The seminar brought the conversation about studying in Australia directly to Samarkand. It gave students and parents an opportunity to meet our speakers, ask questions and consider how an international education could fit their future plans.
We sincerely thank Joseph Dao and Khalilullo Isomiddinov for joining us, and all the students and families who attended.
