From Urgut to Brisbane: Rustam Ulmasov Secures a Student Visa to Study Business at CQUniversity
Rustam Ulmasov, from Urgut in Uzbekistan’s Samarkand Region, has secured a three-year Australian Student Visa to study business at CQUniversity Brisbane. He will begin the Diploma of Business Studies on 8 March 2027, with plans to progress to the Bachelor of Business after meeting the required progression conditions.
From School in Urgut to CQUniversity
Rustam graduated from General Secondary School No. 63 in Urgut District in 2026 and achieved an IELTS overall score of 6.5.
Receiving his visa is an important milestone in the months following graduation. With his study plans confirmed, he can now focus on preparing for his first experience of higher education overseas.
A Diploma-to-Bachelor Pathway in Business
Rustam’s studies will begin with an introduction to business at diploma level. Alongside learning new subjects, he will become familiar with university assignments, classroom discussions and studying in English.
The bachelor’s stage will build on that foundation, allowing him to explore business in greater depth and identify the areas that interest him most. Studying both programs at CQUniversity will also mean continuing within a familiar university environment as he works towards his degree.
Getting Ready for Life in Brisbane
The move from Urgut to Brisbane will bring plenty of firsts: settling into accommodation, finding his way to classes and organising his own weekly budget. These everyday responsibilities will be part of the experience alongside his academic work.
There will also be opportunities to make friends and get to know a different country. For Rustam, the coming years will be a chance to discover where his interests in business can take him.
The EVERSTUDY Consulting team congratulates Rustam on his visa approval. We wish him a successful start in Australia and look forward to seeing him develop into a skilled professional who puts his knowledge to good use for Uzbekistan.
