Elshodbek Nuraliev, from Uzbekistan’s Kashkadarya Region, has secured a four-year Australian Student Visa. He will study Foundation Studies at UTS College before progressing to the Bachelor of Business at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), subject to meeting the progression requirements.

Elshodbek’s Educational Background

Elshodbek graduated in 2024 from Target International School, a private educational institution in Sergeli District, Tashkent, after completing 11 years of schooling. He achieved an IELTS overall score of 5.5 and is now preparing to continue his education in Australia.

Why Foundation Studies Comes First

Direct admission to an Australian bachelor’s degree depends on whether a student’s qualifications, grades and English-language results meet the university’s requirements. Completing 11 years of schooling does not automatically establish eligibility.

For Elshodbek, Foundation Studies provides preparation for undergraduate education. The program helps students strengthen their academic English, build subject knowledge and develop skills in research, assignment writing and independent learning.

Business Education at UTS

At bachelor’s level, Elshodbek will explore how organisations operate, allocate resources and make decisions. His studies will provide an opportunity to identify the areas of business that interest him most and develop knowledge relevant to his future career.

Progression from UTS College to the degree will depend on successfully completing the foundation program and satisfying the applicable academic and English-language conditions.

Scholarship Support Across Both Stages

Elshodbek has received two awards to help reduce his tuition costs:

UTS College: AUD 10,000 towards his Foundation Studies tuition.
UTS: A 40% tuition fee scholarship for his Bachelor of Business studies.

Together, these awards provide valuable financial support throughout his planned education pathway.

Preparing for Life in Sydney

Outside the classroom, Elshodbek will experience a different culture, meet people from diverse backgrounds and learn to manage daily life away from home. These experiences can help him develop confidence and greater personal responsibility.

The EVERSTUDY Consulting team congratulates Elshodbek on this achievement. We wish him success in his studies and look forward to seeing him become a capable professional who contributes to Uzbekistan’s development.
