Ulugbek Sharipov, from Marhamat District in Uzbekistan’s Andijan Region, has secured a three-year Australian Student Visa to study information technology at CQUniversity Sydney. He will begin his studies on 9 November 2026, following a Diploma-to-Bachelor pathway.

From School in Marhamat to CQUniversity Sydney

Ulugbek graduated in 2024 from Specialised School No. 72 in Marhamat District, which offers in-depth study of selected subjects. He achieved an IELTS overall score of 6.0 and is now preparing to continue his education in Australia.

Moving overseas marks a significant step in his education. He will be joining a new academic environment, where studying in English and taking greater responsibility for his learning will become part of everyday life.

Beginning with the Diploma of Information and Communications Technology

Ulugbek’s first program will be the Diploma of Information and Communications Technology at CQUniversity. This stage will allow him to build his knowledge in his chosen field while becoming familiar with Australian university study.

The diploma forms the starting point of his planned progression towards an undergraduate degree in IT.

Progressing to the Bachelor of Information Technology

After successfully completing the diploma and meeting the applicable progression requirements, Ulugbek plans to continue to the Bachelor of Information Technology at CQUniversity.

During this stage, he will deepen his subject knowledge and explore his interests within the technology sector. His future professional direction will depend on the areas he chooses to focus on and the practical experience he gains throughout his education.

A New Chapter in Sydney

Beyond the classroom, living in Sydney will give Ulugbek opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and experience a new culture. Managing his own schedule, settling into daily life and building friendships will also be important parts of his time abroad.

The EVERSTUDY Consulting team congratulates Ulugbek on his visa approval. We wish him every success in his studies and hope the knowledge and experience he gains will help him become a skilled IT professional who contributes to Uzbekistan’s development.
