A new government resolution has introduced significant changes to the admission process for undergraduate programs at higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. Under the updated regulation, applicants holding one of the following three international certificates will be granted special privileges:

  • A-Level Certificate (Grade “B” or higher) — admission on a basic tuition-fee (contract) basis, in addition to standard quotas.

  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Certificate (32 points or higher) — admission on a basic tuition-fee (contract) basis, in addition to standard quotas. The applicant must submit their IB certificate electronically to the Agency via the IB Secure Website.

  • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) (75% of the maximum score — 1200 or higher) — admission with an additional state grant. The applicant must submit their SAT certificate electronically to the Agency via the official DI code.

These privileges apply only to bachelor’s degree programs where the certificate subjects correspond to the entrance exam requirements of the chosen field of study.
